My name is Corina and I am from Long Beach, Ca
I have ESRD and been on dialysis since April 11, 2011
I suffered from CHF for way too long before I went on dialysis. I felt like a blow fish ready to pop! BP way too high because of it, now well they suck the fluids out of me and the CHF is no longer a issue in my life! Thank Goodness!
Its so nice to walk and be able to breath again! I love my new ankles too lol! Now I am in the shoe stores way too much and I believe I have bought 15 pair of sandals in the last 2 months haha! I guess I am making up for yrs past!
I have to say , even though I am tired a lot of times, I feel better then I have in years. I hope this keeps up! I believe in a positive attitude, waking up every morning, telling myself, life is good, I’m so glad to be alive!
So many of my issues of the past are gone! New issues to deal with now, but wouldn’t take the old ones back for nothing!
I am blessed to have such a great kid in my life, she is 20 now and has been my blessing in life since the day she was giving to me! She helps me everyday, and loves me like no one else does!
I try hard to remember my blessings more then the negative things in life. My decease isn’t a easy one to deal with, it has cut my life up in chunks of time and that sucks! But the time I have with my lil family, I don’t take for grated!
Remember to count your blessings, and give the stressful times to a higher power!
Laugh as much as you can, love more then ever, & forgive those who just don’t get it!

Thanks Everyone! Well I have to say , last night wasn't a great one. I just wanna scream sometimes, I believe everyone has their place and I believe mine is at home. I am in center right now , till they get my fistula all working, they are using one needle now, which means its still going to take time then I get to train for at home hemo! YAH! I try hard to be positive everyday..but there is always that ONE time I just wanna slap someone lol! (ok maybe more then once ha!)

LOL I did a lot of self control last night...if you work at a center that deals ONLY with kidney failer..shouldnt you know what your talking about?? just saying!
