Title: Hi from ATL!

just a quick hello .. I've only got 15 minutes left of treatment n then I'm outta here ;)

for starters, I was diagnosed with renal failure at 18, due to glomerulonephritis.
I've had two transplants n neither 'took' for very long.
I'm currently use an AV fistula for hemodialysis, 3x/wk for 3hr.
I tried CAPD for two years (before my first tx) n had one case of peritonitis.
I'm 32, female n live in N Ga.

Welcome to our community, TooterSue!  My first question is to ask an explanation for the name!  I am glad that you found us.  Just the place for information, support and encouragement (with even a bit of fun thrown in!)  There is lots of information here, and loads of support and encouragement as well.  This is your new family :grouphug; - a wonderful group of caring and sharing people.  Just keep reading and keep posting so we will know how you are doing.
