Welcome! How long were you on D? What modality of dialysis did you do? What caused your ESRD?   Looking forward to getting to know you....

Welcome aboard, Alex.. Many people here will not argue that point, I assure you!  You have come to the right site.  Ask anything and rant or whatever you have on your heart, that is what IHD is for!

Hi Kingo, and welcome to IHD.  I'm so glad you found us.  I'm looking forward to your posts.  We all realize dialysis lets us live.  But, I still hate going.  I still hate needles.

G'day Alex! Welcome to IHD!

When I saw the nickname "Kingo" I thought to myself "I bet this is an aussie!" lol  :ausflag;

How wonderful of your wife to donate a kidney and have it going for five years (and hopefully much longer!). That's awesome!

Welcome to our community, Kingo!   The last Kingo I knew is a old educator at one of Barbados's grammar schools for boys.  He was quite a character (as most teachers were in those days)  He used to tell the boys about Swambogiland (where every Bogi can swam!).  Mangoes so big one would feed a family and then they would cut the seed in two and use them as boats.  The Bogies feet were so big that when the rain fell, they would lie on their backs and their feet would shelter them!!
Sorry to rant on, but the name Kingo did it!!
We are so glad to have you with us.  Our Aussie Posse is really growing!  Looking forward to hearing more from you, mate!
