Title: kidney donor tests
Post by: Kay on June 27, 2011, 03:24:34 PM: Hi folks - just a quick note to say tomorrow I will be going to the hospital to get the results of the tests I have been doing as the build up to donating my kidney. I must say, I now know how an old jalopy feels went sent off for an MOT - hope I pass muster!!
Your positive thoughts and prayers would be much appreciated. :pray;

Just back from the hospital - all tests good - so now await the CAT scan. My husband will have three options since we are not a blood match: extraction of his antibodies, swap with another donor, or cadaver kidney -which ever happens first. It is so good to feel that we are journeying towards a better future - so don't mind how long it takes - just so long as we keep on track.
