MARTINS FERRY, Ohio -- A Martins Ferry woman is considered a missing person after she failed to show up for a Thursday morning kidney transplant procedure.
Sara Kitlak, 44, was last seen by her daughter at 9 a.m. Thursday before she left for Allegheny General Hospital.
When she did not arrive at the hospital, the transplant team called police and asked them to check out Kitlak's home in the city.
Kitlak's daughter also called police.
She was not at her home and police said all calls to her telephone numbers went directly to voice mail.
Kitlak is 5 feet, 2 inches tall. She weighs 150 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.
She was driving a 1999 silver Pontiac with Ohio license plate FBH-6186.
