Title: Hello from the UK

Good morning  :waving;, just a quick intro. I am the wife of a new person-what-has-dialysis and we are bumping through getting the initial wobbles sorted out. there seems to be loads of good useful info on here and I look forward to getting plenty of help. I am my DH's "Health PA" and Official Researcher which gives him a break from being a sick kidney with a person attached...I know you will all understand what i mean.

Welcome to the group, Woofgang.  I think it's cool when family members take an interest.  You're right, lots of good information and friends here.  Glad you found us!

I'm new around here too, I've found meaningful answers on IHD to all kinds of stuff I've wondered about.

I know you will find the "environment" here is warm, caring, and thoughtful from everyone.

Welcome Woofgang and I'm so glad you found us.  What does DH mean.  Poppy uses it too so it must be a UK thing?

Yep, "sick kidney with a person attached"...so true.

That's great that you are taking such a heavy load off of DH's shoulders.  Dialysis/kidney disease is tough enough without having the extraneous worries that accompany it...all the research, etc.  I'm glad you make it possible for him to focus purely on his treatments.
