Hi Neo,

I may provide some answers for you with my recent experience.

I had bloodwork done and my vit D level was 17. I was given a prescription for 50,000 iu of vit D2.

Ok, here's the stupid part. I didn't read the label and was taking one a day. On the 9th day, I finally read the label and it said to take once a week! I called doctor and they sent me for bloodwork. Didn't hear anything so figured I was okay. The nurse had told me to wait for 2 weeks then take the 3 I had left - once a week.

While I was researching what the symptoms of vit D overdose was, I read that some people experience pain in their bones because of low vit D and continue to feel that even after starting the supplement. Takes a while for pain to go away.

I didn't have any symptoms of overdose either. Got a letter a few days later that said my level was normal at 40 and to not take the rest of the prescription. Doctor told me to take 2,000 iu daily. I bought D3 today.

I was always exhausted no matter how much sleep and after getting this back to normal I am much more awake and alert.

Good luck
