Title: Happy Mother's Day

I spent the day with my mom yesterday and today my kids made me breakfast in bed, very nice.

Maria called and wished me a Happy Mother's Day! She is sending me a card.
Danielle left me a drawing she did on Friday when she went to boyfriend's house.

I sent in my favorite "momism" to my local paper and made it into print.  Here's to you, Mom!

This was mine, as printed:

“If you don’t hurry up, you’re going to be late to your own funeral!” (Which so far, I have been, after surviving dialysis and nearly-fatal complications from my kidney/pancreas transplant. Sorry, Mom, still not in a hurry to get to my funeral!)
