Am in contact with my Doctor via e-mail about my recent experience and She suggested a possible Heart arrhythmia, A little background:
twice in the past two weeks I have been awakened from a deep sleep with the feeling best described as an overall strong "vibration" or "buzzing" of my entire body, I'm not sure how long this lasts, probably just a minute or two, but you know how confused you can be when awakening so suddenly from deep sleep, She asked me to try to get a pulse when this occurs , but I replied that it is a good idea, but I'm not sure I will be able to do it as I feel almost locked up as far as movement while this happens. I've never had heart problems in the past, I do have controlled high blood pressure and COPD (Use a Nebulizer 4 times per day, and no problems with this treatment, oxygen sat is in the high 90's).
So I guess my question is - during an arrhythmia episode, was your experience anything like this?

Had two of of these -
One was severe - it was called a SVT and the result was a pulse of 220, they had to stop my heart to reset it. Symptoms I had - short of breath, dizziness, sweating and chest pain. Scary stuff. They don't know what caused it.
The other was mild - with breathing and oxygiene it subsided.
Hope it doesn't happen to you (and me) again.

I have a minor arrythmia in that occasionally (about every 1-4 heartbeats), I skip a beat. This has been going on since I first became affected by CKD. The doctors tell me that as long as it doesn't get worse, I am fine. I have passed heart stress tests 3 times in the past 5 years. But...
I do not feel that "buzzing" and the arrythmia doesn't seem to be affecting me in any way. In addition, I have never had such a high pulse rate, although occasionally my heart rate has dropped to low levels for a short period of time. So please... check with your doctor.
