Title: Hi, my name is Birdy...
Post by: birdy on April 27, 2011, 01:28:04 PM: I have been lurking for awhile just tryin' to get my feet wet here.

I'm a female, 53 years old and my kidney's failed me this past November. I started on hemo via a catheter soon after and I'm now doing PD with a few complications.

I'm still a quiet person but do have questions just like a lot of newbies.

Theres a few here who either have been or are on PD so they will be of great help. Hubby is on NxStage and so far, it's been the greatest thing for us. Hope you get what your looking for here. Some pretty amazing people for support..
