Title: Clotting signs sans alarms.

In regards to clotting, what color is bad?  We have been told black, but just wanted to check.

Also, we tend to have tiny fiber like "clots" in the top of the filter. During a rinse back, they resemble a cotton candy like texture. Are they clots or just concentrated blood?
