Title: my introduction from Denmark
Post by: mogensbobirch on February 21, 2011, 01:45:53 AM
I am danish,70 years young, and am He-mo home dialysis patient, on my second year, and found this homepage due to RLS, I have a nice life on pension, and can get around by walking and bicycle, with no problems.  Danish dialysis patients are not so openminded, so I will be a good on of this page.
Kindly.

I must say, I really feel welcome on ths site, we dont have anything similar i Denmark, I found the site while searching for information on RLS, which means restless legs, which is a huge problem for me, and a lot of other dialysis patients.

Welcome Mogens.  I am Danish and have relatives in Denmark but have lost track of them.  My grandparents both came to U.S. from Copenhaven.  I am new to IHD also.

Welcome Mogens.I'm at a conference in Phoenix and have met several people from Denmark. I also heard that the Freedom Study has developed evidence that more frequent short home hemodialysis can address RLS. And I heard the machine I use most nights at home is coming to Denmark, actually is being used now and the first Danish person is taking a holiday to Norway with their machine as I type. Changes be a coming - Welcome!
