MINNEAPOLIS - When people need a kidney transplant, they usually look to family and friends -- but a new program is opening the door to donation to nearly anyone who is willing.
Catherine Garvey, a registered nurse with the University of Minnesota Medical Center, explained how the program works and how interested donors can qualify to help save a life.
