Hello everyone, :flower;

My name is Cordelia and I'm from Canada. :beer1; I'm really looking forward to chatting with you all. :grouphug; I've been a dialysis patient now for almost six months. I'm hoping to be able to have a kidney transplant in the next year or so from a living donor.  :cheer: :) :bandance; :yahoo;

I'm from Ontario, South of Toronto i:) Hello my fellow Canadian!  :canadaflag; It's really nice to meet you!  :waving;I'm really excited to be here to meet others. :beer1; I'm hoping to learn much more about dialysis! :yahoo; I have polycystic kidney disease and that's why my kidneys failed in August. I wouldn't say I hate dialysis, I've met so many great nurses and people because of this experience and they are just fantastic. :)

I was diagnosed with PKD back in 1991, that's when I found out I had PKD.

Welcome Cordelia (forgive me if I think of buffy or something  :rofl;). We love our Canadian friends!!! Glad your experiences with dialysis have been positive and you've met so many good people - that's really important - glad to have you wish us and I look forward to hearing about your journey towards that live transplant!!
