Title: Wattle and family arrive in California!
Post by: okarol on December 29, 2010, 12:55:20 AM: I met up with Wattle and her family in Hollywood, all the way from Melbourne! We had to do In-N-Out burgers tonight, of course, and also had IHOP pancakes. They are a really nice family, I enjoyed meeting them and hope to spend more time with them over the next few days. :yahoo;

Post by: okarol on January 20, 2011, 06:06:57 PM: Spending time with Wattle has been a dream come true. We met through IHD 4 years ago and spent many hours in the chatroom. When she got her transplant nearly a year and a half ago I sobbed with joy and fear. She's doing great, and I love that she got to travel around California. I am so grateful I got to meet her and her family in person.

Wattle and family are probably about to board their flight back to Melbourne.
We talked about a meet-up - hope to make a plan for IHD members to get together.
