"ProPublica"  Journalism in the pubic interest has used the Freedom of Info Act to get from the govt. stats on D Clinics in the US. It allows you to compare clinics. I looked up the clinic I used in Enfield, Ct and Ft Lauderdale, Fl. the stats did compare to my evaluation of my dialysis at the two centers.

Isn't it great to have a tool like this?
