Title: Just Some Stuff
Post by: Ellen on December 26, 2006, 10:36:58 AM
Hi All,

I am not Christian but I heard a lovely address on TV from the Vatican by the Pope last night, translated into English.... it was about the idea of "SMALL" and the entire address was quite wonderful and affected me deeply. I can learn from all faiths and philosophies.  It made me cry and I felt a bit more hopeful about the world. I hope I have not offended anyone.

I have Freddie Mercury from Queen as my picture:  I have always liked the music of Queen and also I love a very funny scene in a movie when 4 kids sing 'Bohemian Rhapsody'  in a car. I like Freddie's big teeth and his hyper stage style.   I think Queen's "costumes" are hilarious70's gear  - altho they may not be meant to be funny.   I  felt sorry that Freddie died young and never could say he had Aids. So sad.    I guess I wish I was a rock 'n roller on the stage... or an Ike-ette or back-up singer for Sting or Aretha Franklin back in the day.

Well, just babbling along...

love from Ellen, the Uncertain >:D

Hey Ellen,

You will not offend anyone here. We come from all backgrounds and in open forums it's just a courtesy to allow everyone there own beliefs.

We all hang on to whatever our own philosophies and beliefs are, it's what makes us who we are, and gives us strength to carry out lifes tasks, especially the harder tasks of a caregiver.

Draw strength from where ever you need to, you will not be judged here.

I'm not a real big Queen fan but I do love 'Bohemian Rhapsody'

Take care "Uncertain"
