Title: Prospective Israeli kidney recipients.
Post by: simcha18 on November 21, 2010, 11:19:03 AM
I am an Israeli male, currently residing in the US. Realizing the difficulties Israelis that suffer from kidney failures have, I consider seriously donating one of my kidneys. My blood type: B. Rh+. Baruch HaShem, I am in good physical and mental health and so are my children, wife, and brother. My latest physical examination revealed only (1) high cholesterol (I control it with diet and exercise), and (2) vitamin D deficiency for which I take vitamin D3. I have no history of kidney stones, kidney disease, heart disease, cancer of any kind, stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure, and I never had blood transfusion. I sicerely wish every member of this message board to have all their health problems solved rapidly and painlessly.

With kind regards,
simcha

Most transplant centers do not accept foreign donors. Because it's illegal to buy or sell organs in the US, bringing a stranger donor in to be evaluated from another country might be suspicious for an illegal financial arrangement. Every hospital has different rules.

Have you tried registering as a non-directed donor at your local hospital? You can also help a larger number of people by starting a chain of transplants with the National Kidney Registry. Your B blood type can donate to people who have B or AB blood group. Good luck.

Shalom.  Thank you, that is very nice.

I would go to donor.com and see if you find someone to give to.
