Hello everyone,
Surgery was yesterday. Everything went well. Was quite painfull upon waking from surgery, but pain meds took care of that. Felt a little nauseous too. Came home and laid down. Felt better to lay flat than to sit. Today I feel better, but naturally still quite sore. Hurts to get up from sitting and move legs to get out of bed or into car. Trying to avoid taking the pain meds because the nurse said that they can constipate you. Only took two vicodin yesterday, today took just Tylenol. The gauze covering the site is very bloody but i guess that's normal. The pd clinic was suppose to call me today, but has not yet. I guess I will have to give them a call. Surgeon said to have bandage changed on monday. Also having trouble finding pants that works around catheter. Time to dig out the sweats. Will update later. Thanks everyone who gave me words of encouragement, you were right, not to bad.
