Hi!
My name is Partj and I am new (relatively) to dialysis and this whoe new world. Renal failure in april 2010. Catheter till June, fistula since. Just starting training for home Hemo and looking forward to it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have been scanning this board and am stunned by the width and breadth of knowledge available!
Thank you to the founders and moderators!!!!
Do not know what would have happened had I not stumbled onto this site!

I feel exactly the same way. I'm about to get my fistula done, dialysis is around the corner for me.
I'm still coping with this "issue" my life will be turned upside down, but I feel strangely safe browsing the huge amount of info this forum provides.
very, very helpful!

WElcome to our community! We would like to get to know you too. I see that you understand what we are about. This is the best place for information, support and encouragement. And you get to see things from the perspective of those who are living it, not just theoretical professionals (although we do need them greatly!) This is really a family :grouphug; caring and sharing. All you have to do is keep reading and keep posting. Tell us a little more about yourself.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
