OK so sorry for another freaking out message/question!!! ;D
basically i am sooooooo anal about taking my pills (prednisolone with breakfast then cyclosporin at 11am and 11pm) but last week i completely freaked out when at lunchtime i couldn't remember taking my cyclosporin at 11am. i am pretty sure i did, but spent the rest of the day obsessing about it/ trying to remember exactly what i was doing before and after and basically driving myself crazy! :banghead; :banghead; :banghead;
although i am sure i did take it (i cant tell you how organised/anal i have become about my pills!) and have carried on taking them as normal i cant stop worrying. i rang the renal unit who said not to worry if it was one time and im over 6 months since transplant. its 8 months in a few days. well my next blood test is in two weeks so worried i will continue to worry for next 2 wks! :banghead; :stressed;
Has anyone else ever done this and were you ok? do you think i should ask to go for a blood to check or should i just calm down a bit. thank you to anyone who can reply to this because i am driving my boyf shawn nuts banging on about it. He keeps saying "well you have rung the hospital and they have told you not to worry and you are there in two wks". i do see his point but im a worrier! loadsa love to you all x x x

everyone forgets once in a while. As long as you don't make a habit of it, you should be fine

You might want to invest in one of the medication boxes with separate compartments for each dose. Then you just have to look at the right compartment to see if it is full or empty. It won't help you remember to take them, but it will help you figure out if you did remember.

Gregory sometimes still goes to work without taking his tablets. He usually remembers later and takes them late but occasionally he has to wear it and miss the dose. Its alright, it will be alright, you will be alright. One rare miss doth not a disaster make. Jbeany is right about the tablet tray, they are useful machinery which help you to work out if you took them or not.

thanks to all of you - am felling a bit calmer now!
i wanted to get one of those pill boxes but my cyclorsporin pills are sooo big they wouldn't fit in one! also i was told not to take them out of the foil until i took them. think i will just have to be even more careful about taking them - maybe i will put a bit stamp on my forehead after i take them and not wash it off till the next dose! ;D
seriously this kidney is sooo amazing guess i just hate to think i could ever do something to mess it up - id never forgive myself.

You can get pill boxes that are big enough to fit the cyclosporin pills, still in the foil, but they are hard to find
