For me it soes. Especially in the begining. It gets darker quicker, the warmth of the sun starts to fade, and for some reason it makes me feel lonley even if I'm with people. I'm starting to feel better now as I get excitied about the holidays. Last night I went to a Karoke party. FUN!!!!!! I was dancing all over the place lol. I got everyone else up too. Make a couple new friends.

ah but it's spring here, the sun is out, so are the ladies in.... shorter outfits >:D and it is nicer to be out (and worse to be stuck in D with blue skies and warm sun just outside the window!).... so when you feel blue just think about how it's our turn for some sun (and thus plan your ticket to somewhere warm!!!).
I think fall/winter is a downer for a lot of us - specially when we're dealing with illness, or a loved one's illness like we do - it just makesit that much harder, specially when it's cold/wet/dark outside and you just don't want to face the world.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the autumn...the colours this year have been just glorious. There's a big maple tree outside of my kitchen window, and it just glows! After living in the UK for so long, I got used to grey skies and short days, so I don't mind them. I like to hibernate. I am trying to get used to the snows of Chicagoland...I've got my silk underwear and snowshoes at the ready. I love those bright snowy days where you have to wear sunglasses. I also like not having to worry about my garden for several months at a time.
I'm looking forward to snowy afternoons where I can sip tea and read. :clap;

Heck no its steelhead season.......
-
Autumn is my favorite time of year. I love the color changes and the crisp evenings.
-
I love autumn - the colors, cool air and the smell of the fall air but it makes me feel sad because winter is coming. I also don't like the long nights!! I like it when it is still daylight 10 o'clock in the night. By Christmas I will be hoping for daffidols and tulips to poke through the ground and they won't here until at least late April!!
-
I do love fall and sorta embrace the shorter days. I don't look forward to winter like I use to.
I was an in home daycare provider for 28 years while raising my 3 kids so I didn't mind winter. My work came to me.... I LOVED IT!
Now I work outside the home so I don't like winters....brrrrrrrrrrrrr ;D

I hate fall and winter.
I'm a summer person. I want nice hot sunny days!!! I love the long days of spring and summer.
when it's sunny and warm, I have so much more energy, I want to go places, do things outdoors............
The rainy season seems so gloomy and sad. I get lazy don't want to go anywhere.
-
Oh I just dread it. It's a sign of winter. Cold, dark, wet....what more is there to say. YUCK!!! :'(

ME TOOO!! I'm totally the same way. I'd actually like it if we had winters where it was cold and wet, but didn't go below freezing.. I hate ice and snow.. when you have mobility issues, they make you house bound.. it's no fun..
-
I am sorry to say but it hit 99 here and I am beginning to miss the Fall with all the colors on the trees and my nieces and nephews jumping into the pile of leaves that my brother in law just raked. ;D
-
Ninety nine...oh my goodness mercy me. Even though I grew up in Texas, man, I hate the heat now. Up until I left Houston for London back in 85. I had never really experience four distinct seasons. I remember many a Texas Christmas in which I wore shorts and a t-shirt, and sometimes that brings back good memories when it's minus 20 with the wind chill factor.

Autumn makes me happy ... I love the colours and wrapping up warm whilst grumbling about the cold. It also means that Christmas is on the way! Yay!
;D
(It's cold and wet here today, but Blokey and I are going to pile on the layers and head to the seaside ... there's nothing like the seaside on a cold and wet day!)
-
I love this time of year! This is the best time to be in Florida, except when it's snowing up north. Then, it's even better.
I do miss the leaves when they change color, but I don't miss the snow!
-
North Carolina has beautiful autums. And since we have mild winters, I don't dread winter like I did in St.Louis or Ohio. I love having four seasons. Snow is a real "event" and literally, everything shuts down. The banks are always the first to close. They will close school on a forecast of snow!
My favorite colors are the fall shades. My husband does not like raking leaves, but the grands love playing in them!

I think I could handle that, Paris.. can I move in with you? *L*

I have a tall fig tree that loses it's leaves during the winter but none of the color of fall, its all brown. :(

Come now so you can see the trees in all their glory and stay for the Halloween party!!

Well, I live in a part of the world where seasons are just terms. We have summer 12 months a year. Saying that, I must explain that it does get a few degrees cooler from November to February. I really love it when it gets cooler. We don't have the wonderful colour changes that you have in temperate climates.

when I was working, I did tech support for an internet company in NC that covered Highpoint and Thomasville and the towns around those two. If I remember right, it was North State
