NKR Update - 14 more transplants facilitated - 192 to date

Congratulations to the following centers for completing 14 more successful paired exchange transplants over the past month. Two of these transplants were notable in that they were part of the new CHP program (children and high PRA patients with no donors). We had another learning experience when both the primary and backup commercial flights were cancelled on one of our swaps and Sterling Courier was able to get a charter jet in place immediately and ship the kidney with no significant additional CIT. Having a charter jet option is a wonderful insurance policy against the inconsistencies in commercial air service.
