My name is John I've been on D since my liver transplant in Feb2010. This is all new to me I'm trying to adjust to the D. I was wondering if there is any medication that would help the hopless feeling I get after D

Can you talk to your doctor about a mild anti-depressant? :cuddle;

Yes, you can take happy pills with D, thank heavens. You've had a tremendous upheaval in your life - you are allowed to be upset and feel hopeless. Talk to your doc and maybe the social worker, if you have one with any brains in her head.
If it's the center atmosphere itself that is getting you, even more than the idea of having to do D, look into home hemodialysis options. NxStage system in the US is great, and even learning to use a regular machine at home can be better than the center. (I'm guessing PD isn't an option with a liver transplant.) I know how much easier it was for me to be sitting at home in a place I found relaxing and comfortable instead of the noisy, cold center surrounded by other patients who were even worse off than I was.
