Had a Routine Changeover of Machines Yesterday. I'm on a Gambro AK 95 on Nocturnal Haemodialysis.
This newer machine is on Version 12.3 which has one really good feature if you are on nocturnal.
You can press the alarm button for three seconds and once you do this, the lights all switch off on the panel. So once your set up, ready to sleep, PRESTO!
Darkness! Yeah!
(All the panel lights switch back on if there is an alarm or if you want to check something)
So I just thought to mention to the site, maybe just ask even if its a different machine check what updates are available and what extra features they come with.
Who knows what we are missing out on! You think they would just make this compulsory for all nocturnal patients, but no they didn't let me have it until more than a year after i've been on nocturnal. MONGRELS! :banghead; :urcrazy;

That's the latest for the self-care/home patient. Most of the controls are on that console, and the arm allows you to move it right beside you or in front of you.

Yeah, they have told us about them , but knowing our health system we will get them Last ! :banghead; :banghead; :banghead; >:(

Although according to stauffenberg, the United States has the worst health system.

Yeah I shouldn't complain the Aussie system is pretty good, don't have to pay a :twocents; and no sign of Davita YET!

My machine looks exactly like that but it have a robot like arm instead to move the control screen. The biggest change I had this year, thanks to my amazing reno team, is that they changed the WRO 95 to a new WRO 300, which is almost care free...changing those filters twice a week was a nightmare!. Hopefully next year I'll change it for the WRO 300 H which does not use chem disinfect anymore
