A friend sent me this link and I've never heard of this before, I thought it was pretty interesting and wanted to share/discuss it.

Yeah, this is not exactly that new.

This is what we more c ommonly call a ABO Incompatable transplant. Quite a few places are doing it now.

It's another option. Newer technology yes, but we have a number of IHD members who have received such transplants and are doing very well (eg: Tamara)
