Hi all,
I am Atif Shabir from Pakistan. I've been on dialysis for about two months. The cause of my renal failure was hypertension. I am planning to have a transplant after mid of this month.

How wonderful that you will have to endure dialysis for only a short time! I'm so pleased you will have a new lease on life, and thank you for joining us and reminding us that miracles do happen!
Do come back often and tell us more of your story.

:welcomesign; Welcome Atif. My kidney failure was also due to undetected and untreated hypertension. Congratulations on your upcoming transplant. Who is giving you this great gift? :waving;
-
:welcomesign; to IHD. I hope you will tell us more about your transplant as it gets closer. Wishing you all the best.

:welcomesign; Atif, and it's lovely to have you join us with such superb news. I would love to hear more about Pakistan, whether kidney related or not. My husband wants to know if you have any good curry recipes over there, but I told him I did not even know if Pakistanis normally ate curries? Perhaps you could settle this issue for us.
Love meeting people from different cultures! Please keep us updated on your progress.
