Kathy has had a stroke and is in the hospital.  Thank you Sally for letting us know.  Sally had info from Kathy's family and will update when they can.  Len is distrate and so worried.  Kathy is such an incredible caregiver and we all know that kidney failure affects the whole family.  Let's all send good thoughts and healing prayers for a good recovery.           :pray;     Please, let our friend be ok.

Oh, what terrible news! I join you, Paris, in hoping that Kathy recovers quickly and fully.

What awful news!   Both she and Len will be in my thoughts and I do hope that the stroke wasn't too severe.   :grouphug;

I had thought the exact same thing lola.  Wondering if the fall was a symptom.  Poor Kathy.

Kathy's granddaughter, Amanda, posted that Kathy is coming home tomorrow.  The family is helping with everything, so it seems that Kathy will be well taken care of.   I asked Amanda to give Kathy all our love and best wishes.    She didn't give any details about recovery,etc.  I am sure we will learn more as time goes by.   Still saying prayers for this kind caregiver to have a great recovery.    :pray;

Kathy has been posting on Facebook and says she wants her granddaughter to teach her how to text.  I think that is a great sign that she is feeling better    :2thumbsup;     :yahoo;

First time I have seen this and saw that it happened in July. Sorry to hear about what had happened.
