On the radio here they were having a call in about how many miles were on your vehicles.
It was sort of interesting. One guy had an Accord with over 500,000 another over 347,000 miles
on it. Some of the trucks were high miles also. My car has 93-94,000 miles on it.
How about yours? Any really high miles? Hope to get lots more on mine.

I have 159k on a 1998 Ford Explorer. I will run it into the ground. Not having a car payment is a beautiful thing.

I guess I'm the proverbial "little old lady" - I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla with 36,000 miles on it - and 15,000 were there when I bought it in 2002! I feel as if I drive a lot more than I do, because I deal with Washington rush-hour traffic, which means I'm in the car a long time, even though I don't go far!

God bless YOU!!! That traffic is some of the worst I know of. No way would I last in those conditions. :banghead; :banghead; :banghead; :banghead; :banghead;

I drive a Ford Focus Saloon (the model may have a different name in the States) and there's 46,000 miles on the clock. I used to drive Fords a long time ago but because during the 70's and 80's Fords became so unreliable I started driving Japanese cars until I bought my Focus three years ago. They are much more reliable now and I'm probably temting providence by saying that this one hasn't let me down yet!

A Chevy Cavalier - 2001 - 180,00km - most of it traveling to dialysis :thumbdown;

Thanks, George! The saving grace is that my car radio/CD player is good, the heater & A/C work, and the seats are comfortable! I am always thankful for having it - I took public transportation for 10 years before getting it, and that was like being in a mosh pit - I routinely had to fight with people to get one of the "disabled" seats, and it took much longer to get to work than driving!
Life, such as it is, is good! :)

Why are you climbing rock fences with your car? That sounds like a fascinating story for us to hear!
-
No idea - I never pay attention to the odometer. The only gauge I look at is the fuel tank - and I think mine seems to be permanently set on E, just like my wallet!

The Triumph is a enduro "dirt bike" a little easier to climb rocks with then a car would be. You want to go for a ride???
-
Bring an extra helmet!
-
Now I'm jealous. >:( ;)

I have a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid with 15k miles on it. I love my SUV, although I don't drive much anymore. A SUV that gets 29 mpg is a wonderful thing. :2thumbsup;

Being Australian, mine is measured in kilometres (1 mile = 1.6 kilometres). And I think it's about 216,000. The car is a 1994 model.
