...after 3 days. In spite of renal failure, it is gastroparesis and digestive tract issues that have put my brother in the hospital more times than anything else. While it is nice to be home, I am annoyed and worried. I was anticipating another day or two in the hospital based on an additional test they wanted to do. I was thinking that the test seemed unnecessary, but that Rolando could use the extra day for healing and IV meds. I left the hospital when his wife arrived to visit late this morning and went home for a couple of hours. While here, I get the happy call from his wife - he can go home today. The doctor has visited (of course in the very, very small window of time when I am not there). So here we are. Rolando was released without the pain medicine he needs, He's nauseous and feverish and I am scared.

So sad to read about Rolando's current trouble. I'm hoping things get back under control soon and that your worry and his pain both can subside. :grouphug;

Things are looking better here. Thanks for the prayers and good wishes. Lola, your Rico really enjoyed the big hugs.

Give him our love. The man is such a fighter! And you are the most amazing caregiver I have ever met. I'll be keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers. :cuddle;
