Title: cataract operation

Hi,
i m a 66 year old man on CAPD dialysis since august 2005.
i m udergoing cataract operation.
i want to know what are the risk factors for the dlalysis patients regarding cataract operation.
will i recover my vision?
what test should i  go for{HB,albumin etc}  before operation.
which form of surgery is best laser or phaco?

I really can't give you that answer.  That is something that you need to ask a professional about.  What we give here is support and a means to vent when necessary.  That kind of question needs a professional answer.  However, there might be someone who has gone through that particular process and can tell you something about it.

Did you have the cataract surgery?  How are you getting along if you  did ?  It should definitely improve your field of vision.   Good luck!
