Yup 31 days in the hospital & he's coming home. There is nothing more that they can do for the cancer until his nutrition improves. He needs to have chemo but his Albumin is only1.7 and the Docs say he would not survive the treatment. The embolizm on the kidney was a success the hemoraging has stopped. He will be having his dialysis down at the hospital M/W/F. It is a hours drive which will be tough on him as D really wipes him out.
It is scary that they can't treat him but at least he will be home with our family. We have our son & his wife & children living with us. He misses the kids, Nathan (11), Hannah (5) they bring lots of love to our lives.
A hospital bed is being delivered today, visiting nurses will be coming daily. He will be continuing on the TPN. He has started on clear liquid 2 days ago (3rd try) hopefully the bowel fistullas have healed & he can start to eat again.
