You don't need social skills to get lots of support and advice here at IHD. We have plenty of members on PD who would be happy to try to help you out.

WELCOME (I just had to shout that) to our group. You're gonna fit right in. We're all a little crazy here. Your sense of humor about all this is fabulous. I know what you mean about being somewhere that the nurses don't know about PD. My friend got her first peritonitis infection when a doc in the hospital took off her end cap, examined it (without gloves), and then put it back on her catheter. The first thing she told me was not to let anyone who isn't a PD nurse do anything regarding my catheter or PD. I'm looking forward to other posts from you!
