I am so excited. My surgon finally cleared me to use my cathether and start ccpd. I will be on the baxter system, and I have already started the training. :2thumbsup;
Hopefully I will start to feel better. Hemo just knocks me out.

That's great Bette. Hope everything goes well for you. I've been on dialysis for two months now on the baxter cycler, never did haemo, and apart from a few initial problems it all seems to be going smoothly, I can honestly say that up till now it's been nothing like the depressing life changing experience that I'd expected. From what I've read on this sight, compared to haemo, CCPD is very liberating. You can set the machine up and dismantle in a matter of minutes.
Best of Luck
