I suppose I'm not that much different than a lot of people here, although I feel different than a lot of people. I am a 33 year old guy living in the far north suburbs of Chicago, about 15 minutes from the wisconsin border. Been on hemodialysis for about 3 years, on the transplant list for about 4. Working full time for an environmental consulting firm. Not sure what else to say as an introduction, One of my major interests is motorcycling, I'm engaged and have been for over ten years.

Hi Sean, so glad you decided to join us. I am one of those close by members, but north of the border. I regularly go down to Chicago as that is where I had my recent transplant performed.

Welcome to our community.  Glad you decided to join us.  You will find this a great place to be for information, support and even fun.  Hope you get your transplant soon (and we will put your name on the Hall of Fame). Welcome to the site.  Glad you joined us.  I've been doing dialysis for 15 months.  Tried PD for a while but had a lot of problems.  Doing hemo now since March.  Look forward to getting to know you.
