Just to let our IHD family know that lilBajanne (Sam) will soon have another baby. She is right now in Puerto Rico where her obstetrician is. I will be going there this weekend, with her first son Christopher who will be celebrating his 7th birthday on Saturday. The same doctor delivered him.
Those of you who pray, please add yours to mine for a safe delivery and a healthy baby boy. [Sam would love if the baby came while we were spending time with her]

Please tell Sam that Beth and I will be saying lots of prayers for her and the baby. This is a exciting time. It will be nice for Christopher to have a brother when they are older. And we send our love and prayers for the baby's grandmother! Because we love her very much! :cuddle;

congrats and best wishes. april and i had so much fun with sam in vegas. still have the picture of sam and april on the roller coaster. glad it was them and not me. us grandmas have to stick together.

Yup, we grandma have to stick together :cuddle; I was checking through some pictures and came upon the pict of April and Sam, which I captioned "pure terror'! They had a whale of a time.

Oh, I so hope baby arrives while you are there. Isnt it wonderful being a grandmother? My great grand daughter was here yesterday. Jabberjaws now that she has learned to talk. Prayers for all of you. Have a safe trip too.

Oh Bajanne how wonderful. I wish I could be a grandmother again. All four of mine are grown, but not married yet. I willl for sure be praying with you for a healthy delivery for Sam and the baby brother.

Thank you so much, my beloved IHD famly! I am back home. No, the baby didn't come. The doctor is saying now that she had 4 more weeks (but the baby could possibly come before that). He told her to rest as much as she could.- something she was definitely not doing. She was staying in a guest house with a long flight of stairs she had to walk up, and she had to go out to eat, etc.
Now she is staying with a sister of mine (in the church life) and she will get much more rest. Some of it will be forced rest since when the sister is out to work, she will have to stay put!

Jayden Jordan Frank BARKER has arrived!!!
He arrived at 1:09 p.m. on Wednesday, June 09. 8lbs.8 oz. Thankfully, no Caesarean! He is absolutely adorable (forgive a doting grandmother!). Mother and baby are both doing very well. He is such a calm little man, sleeping away most of the time.
Silly me, I took pictures with Sam's camera and not mine. I returned last evening (Monday) because of my dialysis and Sam will be coming home this morning (Tuesday). You will see the picts Tuesday evening.

Hey Guys,
Thanks sooo much for your prayers and well wishes! I had so much fun reading all of your comments. IHD is truly a family. I will like to thank Aunty KitKatz for the beautiful blankets and the clothes sent. You would not believe that i saw those exact outfits in Walmart, Puerto Rico and i said i would return for them for Baby Jay and never got a chance to. So you could imagine my surprise and joy when i saw them. Great minds think alike :). Many thanks KitKatz.
Update on Baby Jay lol! He is now 12 pounds and 7 weeks old. Chris' dad calls him the Linebacker. He is a very calm child butttttt dont mess with his breast. When he wants it , it better come soon. He detests bottles, pacifers ; anything that is not flesh i guess. So you could imagine my days lol Well they say breast is the best so... Big Brother Chris lovessss his lil bro. Sometimes when i put Jayden down in his bouncer so that i could do some cleaning when go back for Jayden , he is no where to be found. Chris just picks him up and takes him on a walk. He is always talking to him telling him the things he is going to teach him " very soon" he says :lol;.
I am soo happy with my boys. I have been truly blessed.
Update on Me: As you can see from the pics, I can no longer be called lilbajanne. So i am working on getting to a healthy weight. I finally realized that i would love to become a Nutritionist that concentrates on many healthy challenges including Obesity, Diabetes and ofcourse Kidney Failure. The trials i seen my mother go through with illness prompted this. I am trying to find a good online college for this and already doing my research, using myself and my mother as guinea pigs. Trying to keep her around for the boys. I will post a thread about the eating plans and my weight loss journey. I am now 216 pounds just to give you an idea of my starting point.
I am sure Grandma has kept you all up to date with pics, but i just wanted to come on and give u my own personal update and to say many thanks. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as i keep you all in mine.

Your Baby is so beautiful!! I love seeing the pictures of the two boys together, that baby is so blessed to have such a big brother. I am glad to hear your doing well, and glad to hear your getting healthier, I am well versed in struggling to lose weight myself....but I have confidence in you! :flower; I love you guys!
