Post by: angieskidney on November 28, 2006, 01:08:30 AM
I found an OLD video of Home Hemo Self-Cannulation (not sure if Buttonhole or not) from '69!!

I found it on the Home Dialysis Central (http://forums.homedialysis.org/showpost.php?p=11304&postcount=1) thread!

The link to the actual Video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IatQ_RgYcww

EDITED:  Moved post to proper thread - Goofynina/Moderator

Oh I give up ... I even discussed it with Sandman about if it should go here or if it should go in dialysis:general (http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?board=2.0). Crap man .. who knows where the heck things are supposed to go. Sorry but we spent a good 5 minutes discussing this ... figures we'd be wrong ..  We only figured here because it is not about present dialysis but only reminissing an OLD video from 1969! :(

Wow, you discussed this for 5 minutes and you and sandman together couldn't figure out what "Talk about anything here that's not about Dialysis." that is clearly stated in the section summary? Or as it is mentioned in this thread: http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=7.0 which clearly states in the title "Welcome to off-topic please stay OFF-Topic no discussions about dialysis."

Please explain to me how I can make it more simple for you to understand. How should I change the wording so it makes more sense? Sorry but to me it is very easy to understand this is the Off-Topic section on a dialysis message board, so that would mean no topics about dialysis in this particular section.

But the video is about dialysis, so what does it matter if it's past, present, or future? Bottomline it is about dialysis right?

I guess so. But I have noticed a lot of posts being misplaced so maybe it isn't just me?

Surprised you found this video. Thanks for sharing.
I was hoping someone would be impressed ;) I did a search before and never found it! So I thought I had seen them all :P Look at the size of that machine! lol And stabilizers? Why don't they have that anymore? :P

Oh man, the machines sure have gotten smaller. I have a hard time watching the needle sticks, but
it was an interesting video. How often do you think the guy was on it, if he was sleeping there while
on dialysis? Thanks for posting it.
