Im Soundbyte, and my long-term boyfriend is on PD for the last 18 months awaiting transplant.

Have been lurking on IHD a good while, but only signed up lately, keep up the good work!

Welcome Soundbyte.  We are glad you stopped lurking and decided to join us.  You boyfriend is fortunate to have a partner who wants to learn more about what he is dealing with.  Good for you!   Ask lots of questions.  Welcome (finally!) to our community!  I love de-lurkers!  They make my welcoming job very easy.  I know that you know that this is the place for information, support and even fun!  By now you must have seen that this is more than just a website - it is a family  :grouphug; caring and sharing.
Is your boyfriend going to join us as well.  That would be good. 
I not only love de-lurkers but I appreciate very much those people who join because of concern for a loved one.  Please let us know how he is doing (and you too!)
