H everyone!
My name is Andrew. I'm 24 and am not a dialysis patient, I'm a dialysis worker. I started working as a tech almost 4 years ago. I graduated from LPN school last December, and I'm currently in RN school. I've loved working in dialysis. It has been my first medical job, and the patients and co-workers at the clinic made me decide to pursue nursing.
This field is very rewarding and is unlike any other nursing out there. Its so great to get to know the patients on a personal level, and see them as much as we do. Sometimes it can be tough (although nothing compared to what the patients have to deal with) but I wouldn't give it up for anything.
Thanks for letting me share a little about myself! :)
