Title: New to CAPD

I think I posted this in the intro and it should have been here
Guess what ??..I have made a fantastic discovery...something that willchange the PD (pain in the *&%") ... for good...ready..sorryfirst..hey Lou I am in Wales near Neath, i know Exeter as i used tolive in Guzz (Plymouth) and Tracy keep laffing hun its the bestmedicine....anyway back to my discovery.  About 5.30 this morning anddoing my morinig routine which sorta incorparates CAPD whilstasleep...my discovery is.........THE DRAIN BAG  (http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/Smileys/classic/urcrazy.gif)it makes a fantastic foot warmer ..no honest!!!!! I had the coziesttoes this morning ... this may hower confuse the Docs when they see theweight of my drain bag is 103.6 kilos and not the usual. I hope thishelps other CAPD sports fans out there ...ta da !!

Yup, I used to use my bags as foot warmers when I was doing manuels.  Now I drain into the toilet so I dont use drain bags.  If you have a cat it sure doesnt take them long to realize that the bag on top of the machine is nice and warm.  It doesnt take the machine long to register the extra weight and scream it's freaking alarm at 3 in the morning!  Bad kitty!

Gotta agree with you there, Steve.  When I was doing manuals, I frequently rested my feet on the drain bag as it was so warm.  Just another example of how to make a good thing out of something not so good.
