I've been on dialysis (peritoneal) since last May. My clinic says I'm doing fine and I have just gotten on a transplant list. Trying to work full time, starting at 8am with 8.5 hours on the cycler has been "interesting" My new cycler -- Fresenius vs Baxter has been a trial. Scheduling deliveries while not missing too much work is almost impossible.

schwarja welcome to IHD. I'm so glad you found us. Sounds like you are right on track. Where are you from? Do you find it hard to store all your supplies? Lots to learn on here as well as a place to vent about dialysis. You won't find that on any other board.

There are a number of people doing that dialysis here. Since coming myself everyone has been so helpful and encouraging to each other. The information I've learned is amazing. Oh yeah, there's a lot of laughter too! There's a lot of living to do even if someone's on dialysis.

Welcome to IHD! Seems like you are trying to fit as much as you can in with your dialysis and that's what it's all about I reckon. Live your life!
