CNBC aired a program entitled, “How Much is Your Dead Body Worth?” tonight at 10 p.m. (EST).
It replays several times over the next week - check your local listings.
Here's more about the program: http://www.cnbc.com/id/35819898/
I haven't seen it yet.

With all the different diseases and stages of "idiopathic" (of unknown cause) things going on I am a virtual goldmine for med students, whether I am alive or dead!!!

With this thread, I can't get out of my head the scene from Monty Pythons "Search For The Holy Grail" - Bring Out Your Dead, Bring Out Your Dead! :urcrazy;
-
The way things are going with my body right now, it isn't worth a plug nickel. Not even bargain basement---more like Goodwill leftovers that no one wants. Not even Goodwill wants them. :rofl;
-
I always tell hubby I am worth a lot more dead than I am alive LOL!!!

I wish I could have every penny back that I've spent (or my insurance company) on my body medically over the years. I could pay off the National debt!

Gunther von Hagens might be interested in your body. Have a read of this: Click (http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2002/mar/19/arts.highereducation)
WARNING if you read, be ready to :puke; :puke; :puke; :puke;

Absolutely fascinating, old boy. Are you planning to become part of the exhibition?
-
Stoday, he had a show at our Science Museum in the city twice and I missed them both. I wanted to see the exhibts, but was able to see the process on the Discovery Channel that showed him doing the process on a horse and rider.
I forgot about how bad the economy is, so my body isn' woth :twocents; , it's a 1/2 cent now :rofl;

There is so much more that they can do with donated bodies over the in USA that they can't afford to do in other countries (eg like taking not just bones but also skin and creating graft material etc) other countries just don't have the resources to do this becuase in countries like ours its all controlled by the Govt, done in Govt labs so there is NO BIG BUSINESS involved in it. All of the other products are actually imported from the US (all pharm products created from cadaveric material)

I plan on selling my body when I am done with it. I tried renting it out but apparently thats still illegal.
