Today I have had to go to the loo like a normal person - not in quantity, but in the number of times I have to go. This isn't some bad sign of an infection or anything is it? Any other PDites have this happen?
-
Me!! It's happening these days as a matter of fact - so strange. It happened several months ago too. I asked my neph about it then, and he said he can't explain that one. Then I stopped peeing again (well, almost), and now I've started again. Go figure!

Bragging, huh? :rofl; :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;
I hope you get serious answers, sorry I don't have one.

The only good part I could ever think of about dialysis was not having to go pee. I can't tell any difference. And as always it is three or four times during the night. I hate doing anything that you have to do again. I mean if it doesn't stay done then it is a waste of time... like peeing or eating or mowing the grass.

Unfortunately Rob the quantities weren't quite at the bragging level. Ended up being a UTI - but nipped it in the bud, so didn't get too bad.

Who is "bragging"?
-
Glad you caught it before it got baaaaad. :2thumbsup;

it's one of those things that when you read about it with other people you kindof think 'oh year, so you get a bit sore in your whatsit - big deal. Then when it happens to you you go 'Holly CRAP (scuse the swearing) - get me a doctor NOW. And I know mine was mild and caught and dealt with really early - what ust is be like if it isn't like Darth's mum that time when the doc wasn't available ... eeeek. I forgot I am a wimp with pain!
-
Oh Bern...UTI's can be very painful....glad yours was caught early. Wimp or not, pain is not fun.

I know what you mean. It seems like lately I have to go constantly, even though I only produce about 100 cc's for the entire day. I've also been wondering why that is. Been on PD for 6 years.
