Fearing that my chronic urination difficulties were causing more damage to my kidneys (and may in fact have caused my kidney disease in the first place, who knows), my doctors scheduled me for a prostate operation.
I had the surgery--but I still had trouble urinating due to a partially closed bladder opening.
So I had another surgery for that.
And another.
And now, I can pee freely.
But I can no longer ejaculate freely.
Due to having removed so much tissue from the bladder neck, it no longer closes during orgasm. And so my semen ends up going into my bladder instead of out through the urethra. This is called "retrograde ejaculation." I can still orgasm but nothing comes out.
Oh, well, I'm not trying to father any children anyway.
But I sure wish my list of problems doesn't get much longer.

I was reading and found this unusual/interesting info about the condition:
Taoists and some fields of alternative medicine recommend and teach deliberate retrograde ejaculation as a way of "conserving the body's energy". One manner of achieving this is by applying pressure to the perineum during orgasm. It was believed that doing this caused the sperm to travel into the head and nourish the brain, or that energy is conserved physically by keeping the sperm (and thereby, the "intelligence" that created it) in the body.
So maybe you'll get smarter? :2thumbsup;

You don't have to worry about having children Rightside - they can very easily get the semen from you and do ivf these days. I don't know what advice to give you - but figured one less worry my help?
