Title: Lynchburg Nephrology
Post by: plugger on January 21, 2010, 11:01:29 AM
I was putting up a post on our DialysisEthics board and I wanted to mention Lynchburg Nephrology in Virginia and link to them, but I notice their site is down and I can't find a mention of them anymore at the Dialysis Facility Compare site.  Dr. Lockridge was a leader in slow nocturnal dialysis and helping to start bills in congress - I was wondering what happened to him and his clinic, anybody know?

Google Maps shows he's still around.

Give him a phone call.

Thanks!  As a coincidence I did get an answer from a dialyzor over at Home Dialysis Central who happens to go to Dr. Lockridge's clinic: http://forums.homedialysis.org/showthread.php?2438-Lynchburg-Nephrology

It does look like the doctor is still around and it sounds like the site might come back up, it had a lot of great video and written testimonies for slow nocturnal.

Also I was going to use his clinic as an example of a small for-profit that works in a post at our site (www.dialysisethics2) - you won't often hear me use "for-profit" and "works" in the same sentence when it comes to clinics.
