I am glad i saw this. I use the the 5c4471R which is a very popular model.
I would think many here in the US using Baxter would use this model.
I have always felt overfull and been short of breath while hooked up but i assumed
this was normal. Although i dont think my machine is malfunctioning since i monitor it
and always have some leftover fluid in the fill bag like i should.
I will still give them a call however.

Thanks for the info.,Okarol. My husband Stan was on Baxter cycler. From the very first days nothing but trouble. Before using the cycler he was doing great with manuals and getting excellent UF's, with yellows. Once on the cycler his problems started. He and I posted about the negative UF's and fluid overload (while on cycler). He was hospitalized 3 times with CHF and plurel effusion. He was in ICU twice this was happening every 60 days or less.
We used reds with the cycler and even that would not pull his fluid off. We then made the decision to go back to manuals. This was OUR decision not nephro's. It appeared that he was upset that we were not giving the cycler a chance. Stan could not physically afford to take any more chances.
Since he has gone back to manuals :bow; he has managed to keep his dry weight without a problem. The problem that I really think was caused by the cycler is that he went from being an low/average transporter to high transporter. Really think the cycler changed and/or a problem with his pertenimun. But that is only our opinion. I know doc will not go there.
