Title: Small World
Post by: willowtreewren on January 10, 2010, 07:38:30 AM
Last night I contacted a Montessori colleague about a misprint in an advertisement he had sent out yesterday. He had listed my city incorrectly. LOL.

This morning he responded and told me that he and his wife are leaving for NY on Tuesday so she can give a kidney to someone. Remarkable.

I wish there were more like her out there.

Cool story, Aleta!  :2thumbsup;

It's amazing how many people there are out there connected to ESRD. Quite a few times, I have told someone about my situation only to hear that they are donating a kidney, know someone who received a kidney, or know someone in need of a kidney. We're everywhere.

Not to spoil a cool story...Today I received an email from my church.  My priest's brother passed away.  They said "he succumbed to renal failure today."

I wish there were more out there like her too Aleta.
