Merry Christmas to everyone who reads this.
I want to thank all the Staff here at IHD for a wonderful job this year for their part in keeping IHD on top, and for making IHD the best place to go when faced with ESRD.
We all do our part here at IHD for free. 100% volunteer. Money donations through out the year is for hosting and upgrades and is held to keep Epoman's original intention alive, and that is to keep IHD online even after his death and ours.
Members, each and everyone of you play an important part in IHD's continued success, we could not do what we do without you. Sometimes I know we are not popular and some of our decisions you may not agree with, but please understand that we do the best job we can with the information we are given at the moment. There are alot of behind the scenes criteria that goes into our decisions that you don't see, and that is why you don't understand why we do things a certain way when we do them. We would gain nothing if we based our decisions on personal feelings or our own agenda. We want a balanced board that meets and exceeds everyone's needs. Please feel free to offer advice or ideas through PM's or emails and we will consider them. We need to keep IHD fresh at all times and we need to keep growing.
I apologize for not being on as much as I used to be, my job is very demanding and sometimes there just isn't enough time in a day.
Thanks to Karol for her continued devotion to this board. Without her I am not sure where we would be.
Please take the time to express your gratitude to the Admin team for all their hard work.

Thank you admin and moderators, for all that you do for us. It is a thankless job, and no one can keep every body happy, we know that, and yes, sometimes we get a tad out of hand. But, we dont really mean it and get over it. Thanks again and I am so grateful for this site. The people may not be "real" but they understand all of our problems. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you.

Thanks, Sluff. :cuddle; It was a life changing day when I found IHD. I love all of you and learn from someone every day. Wishing a wonderful 2010 to all and may there be lots of transplants for our members :2thumbsup; Thank you for the incredible support members give each other, especially in the really tough times. :grouphug;

A very big Thank You to all admins and mods who I know work very hard behind the scenes for us and the site , and some of whom we ought never to forget, struggle themselves with various aspects of ESRD.
Thanks again and all best wishes for the coming year. I feel sure that Epoman, whom I never knew since he passed prior to my joining, would be extremely pleased with the way his vision has continued to expand and become bigger than any one person.

I tried to think of something serious to say, but I'm not much of a sentimental person, nor is serious my style. So here I go in my own gratitude way.

Almost forgot to thank Sluff (with Wife Christy, son Patton, and now wife) for coming to visit me in the hospital out of the blue, coming out of state and through contruction traffic

Nicely put. Whenever we have new folks at our renal support group, the first thing I do is tell them about IHD. This is a most valuable site and answers lots of questions that the nurses and docs don't know cuz they ain't "being there, doing that." Thank you admins and everyone else for keeping this site alive.

Sluffbunny :bunny: well said. And I do thank all the Admin volunteer staff. I love IHD and all the help and support it provides to one and to all. I think all of us would now be lost without it. I also know that someone has to make the hard decisions and I'm just glad it isn't me.
