Im not going back over the other posts you know where ive been up too and how i felt. I think ive mentioned in other posts ive been seeing a therapist (once every couple of weeks) to talk about Hemo. What in the midst of all this turbulence i did forget to tell you was she rang me on Friday and i related to her the whole story of what the doctor had said etc , of just getting home after a horrendous day etc. and she said she would pop in to see me while i was on dialysis one day next week for a chat. So i left it at that .
She rang me this morning (not expected) and said .....I have managed to get hold of your Specialist (not the doc that terrified me) and told him exactly what had gone on , what the doctor had said etc etc, and he said ...wait for this ............He hadnt a clue about any of this , he thought when he saw me i was just in for the standard removal procedure. Bloody unbelievable !!! She discussed in length what had gone on and it seems now he might give me chance to put my side of things to him about how i was treated. I also told her how paranoid i had been all weekend , the panic attacks , the possible backlash of signing myself out and facing him on tuesday. So she is going to email him today and explain all this and will tell him that HE , His team, The nurses, Herself and me all need to work together to develope some kind of communication between us , instead of one doctor saying this , one nurse saying that and him not knowing anything. Finally i feel like i have someone in my corner with me ! Bless you guys for all your posts , i know you all have my bests interests at heart . I know what i felt wasnt logical but i couldnt convince myself otherwise.
PS , By the way if you want some energy , i highly recommend a nervous breakdown , as i have steam cleaned my bathroom from top to bottom. Completely done my bedroom , sorted out all my drawers as well , got 3 lots of washing , washed , dried , ironed and put away as well as hoovered my living room and hall floors ! Seriously tho' guys i do wonder about my sanity some days . KS x

That's GREAT news, KS... :clap;
Take every little bit of support you can get.... Glad it's working out better... By the way, check if the hospital has a Patient Advocate... They can be a great support...
I'm looking forward to hearing that all went well tomorrow...
Erm, KS... Next time, would you be so kind as to have your breakdown in my house... I could do with the help with the cleaning, laundry, etc... ;D
God bless...

Well I won't say it but ok maybe I will just a little - I told you so (a little bit!) :rofl;
Something you totally didn't expect has wound up in a positive thing for you and it seems quite certain that when you see the doc tomorrow he will at least be willing to hear you out and HOPEFULLY more supportive of where you are at - something you didn't expect would happen.
So that is fantastic that you have the therapist on side for you and doing their best to help you out.
I also think it is a fantastic suggestion to work on the communications between all concerned. One thing I learned from the get go that YOU are part of YOUR treatment TEAM. It's not about "them" and "you" - or shouldn't be anyway- though I know you've suffered through quite a lot of adversarial types of situations with them... but I always approach things that I am the most important member of my care team. I mean I am responsible for things like keeping to the diet, fluid restrictions, exercise and all that part of it - and nobody has more incentive than me to do all that the best I can (and if I slack off then I have nobody to blame but me)... and by the same token the nurses and docs and so on are responsible to treat me appropriately (and with respect). Luckily I have a good team around me and we work together to sort out issues, discuss things etc, and my neph most times responds to emails and comes back with suggestions and stuff so I can get changes made between consultations - and same with the D staff that we discuss things and come to a consensus that everyone is happy with. That doesn't always mean I get my way, but if they disagree with something I want to change we'll discuss it and usually I need to defer to their professional knowledge because something I might have thought might have been too simple, or not taking something else into account. Luckily though they won't talk down to me or make me feel like a fool but just explain why they have their view... and anyway we work through things (and the last time we had things to change I was the one who was right - HA! :) ).
Anyway this is great KS and hopefully tomorrow will be more supportive of YOU and get YOU back on track rather than being the horrible experience you have been dreading.
so hang in there !!!

WooHoo! Some good news for you for a change. About time... :cheer: :cheer:

So glad someone finally is understanding your situation. :2thumbsup; Maybe now everyone will be on the same page and you will get the right answers. Hope Tuesday goes well :thumbup; :cuddle; :cuddle;

:thumbup; Glad to read this KS.
So if you have a Dirt Devil or a Eureka do you still call vacuuming hoovering??
-
Good luck for tomorrow, let us know.

I'm so happy to hear you may finally get a chance to tell "your side" of the story. Its hard to know someone is struggling. You just want to run to their side and help them. Unfortunately we can't do that but at least here you have a group that understands and supports you.
In one of my posts I said that the hospital situation may have been a blessing in disguise and now I think it was!!!!
With so many people praying for you, how could things not work out!!!

Afraid the force doesn't stretch to the mundane, KS... Sadly!....
I got four loads of laundry done during the night... Took advantage of a dry, breezy night... (awake with Wisdom Teeth pain)... If my neighbours had seen me pegging washing onto the line at 1am, 3.30am, 5am, and 6.30am, they'd have called the nice men in the white coats to come and get me!!!... :rofl;... On the other hand, that may not have been a totally bad thing... I could do with the rest!.... ;D
Good to see you in better form, KS...
Keep the flag flying!...

Good for you KICK. I'm so glad to hear from you on a positive note. Some days are just good. I think that maybe I need to get paranoid and have a nervous breakdown. I need some energy to get a bunch of stuff done. Anyway, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe tomorrow and the next day will bring more good news.

KS...great news after all! I sure hope your therapist kicks some :sir ken; The nervous energy sydrome (NED) is great for all of us. We are able to go in furious spurts, mind clicking and before you know it, the work is done and we have become resolved to a solution for our troubles! Keep on kicking!
