I got a call yesterday from my transplant clinic. Apparently my urine culture came back as "infected". So now I'm on two antibiotics (Bactrim once a day and Keflex 4 a day for 14 days). Apparently the infection is "common" so no huge worry there.
I also have an appointment with a urologist on the 9th for a cystoscope to look at the ureter to see if it's hopefully recovered from the fluid pocket. If so, he will remove the stent and life will go on. If not, then I guess we'll begin the process of "stent in, stent out" every six weeks or so. I don't want that!
Please pray that the ureture has opened back up enough to NOT have to have the stent ever again!!! :pray; :pray; :pray; :pray; :pray; :pray;
Thanks Friends! :beer1;

Hopefully they'll knock out the infection, no more stent - and you can relax a bit! :cuddle;

Fingers crossed for you Kelly :cuddle;

I hope the antibiotics work quickly for you and wishing you well so you don't need another stent. Good luck.

Praying all works out for you.
